For this backlighting shot, I use the Center-Weighted Average metering mode to mainly expose shadows (the building), get more detail and quality on this critical areas, while the over-exposure on the sky will be easily handheld thanks to the great highlights (“to the right”) sensibility of the sensor. I took this photo using the same technic as , but five minutes before. I post-adjusted the picture to logically reveal highlights details — like in the sky — and enhanced the color complementarity, less visible on the original because of the voluntary over-exposure.

This picture is not so sharp, but I decided to save it from the trash because of the aesthetic of reflections. About adjustments, it's simple, I sightly reinforce blacks and enhanced the afterburner effect; I've also removed a bird in front of the aircraft, not enough visible and interesting to be kept.
