This kind of spider is very easy to find at night. The method —given by our friends Yannick— is easy and really effective. At night, place your headlamp and turn it on. Then just walk around turning your head here and there and as soon as a bright spot appears on the ground, you can be sure to find a spider like this. The bright spot is actually the reflection of your light in the eyes of the spider. It shines like a star, but on the ground… When we started walking around to take some pictures, we believed that the sky was under our feet! Well, I exaggerate a bit, but it was quite shinny around us anyway.
